MPL Updates Government Stakeholders on Port Relocation Project

Malé, 30 July 2026 – Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), held a meeting with relevant government stakeholders at Meerumaa regarding the ongoing project to relocate the Malé Commercial Harbour to Thilafushi.
The purpose of the meeting was to share updates on the progress of the relocation project and provide stakeholders with information on the ongoing work. While also giving the stakeholders an opportunity to share their views, and feedback on the project.
The meeting marks the first in a series of consultations planned with relevant stakeholders throughout the project.
