UNCTAD Modern Port Management Course Participants Complete Module 4
Cycle 4 participants explore key challenges and emerging trends in sustainable port management.
Malé, 20 August 2026 – Participants of Cycle 4 of the UNCTAD Modern Port Management Course have successfully completed Module 4, focused on the challenges of sustainable ports.
The five day module covered a range of topics relevant to sustainable port operations, including climate change and environmental management, health and safety, quality management, port security, corporate social responsibility and Emerging trends.
The module featured sessions delivered by officials from Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) and Mr. Giriraj Singh Rathod of Mumbai Port Authority, providing participants with both local and international perspectives on sustainable and resilient port management.
