HPL manages the Hithadhoo Regional Port located in the Addu Atoll, the southern-most atoll in the Maldives.
Hithadhoo Regional Port began operations in July 2009 and is owned by Hithadhoo Ports Limited. As the main southern hub, it handles containerized and general cargo, providing businesses with essential storage and cargo handling services. HPL focuses on reducing transportation costs through a 30% tariff concession on imported goods. Additionally, the port offers free warehousing for up to 10 days, helping businesses avoid double handling at Malé Commercial Harbor. HPL is continuously upgrading its infrastructure to meet ISPS standards, ensuring a secure and efficient port environment.
