KPL manages the Kulhudhufushi Regional port, located in the second Northern-most atoll in the Maldives.
Kulhudhuffushi Regional Port, operational since December 5th, 2005, is situated on Kulhudhuffushi Island, the economic center of the north. The port is essential for managing domestic and inter-island maritime trade and distribution in the northern region. Future plans include receiving cargo directly from India via the Cochin Ferry Link, opening new market opportunities for perishables and consumer goods. Kulhudhuffushi Port offers free storage for 10 days, a 30% tariff concession on imports, and equipment rentals for local businesses. Recent developments also include speed boat maintenance services.
