Malé, 22nd September 2025 – Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts, has announced the opening of applications for the 2025 Apprenticeship Programme.
This six month programme is designed to provide young people with valuable hands-on experience in the maritime industry, offering practical training and exposure to various port operations. Participants will have the chance to work alongside industry professionals, gaining insights into the day-to-day activities that drive the country’s trade and logistics.
The Apprenticeship Programme forms part of the National Apprenticeship Program, which focuses on equipping youth with the skills and knowledge needed to build rewarding careers in key sectors.
