Inspection highlights progress of the Thilafushi Port Development
Thilafushi, 20th August 2025 – Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Ameen, visited the Thilafushi Port Development site to inspect the progress of ongoing Thilafushi Port Development.
The Minister was accompanied by MPL CEO DCP (Retd) Mohamed Rishwan and the development team, who briefed the Minister on the current status of the works and outlined key milestones achieved so far.
Once completed, the Thilafushi port will not only strengthen the nation’s logistics and trade capabilities but also support economic growth and regional connectivity.
