
MPL Begin VHF Telecommunication Training for Operational Staff
Training Aims to Strengthen Communication Skills and Operational Efficiency
Malé, 16 November 2025 - Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has commenced the VHF Telecommunication Training, conducted by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) for operational staff who use VHF communication systems in their daily tasks. The training is designed to enhance staff competency in communication techniques, promote correct and effective use of VHF equipment, and improve overall operational efficiency across MPL.
More than 300 staff members have been nominated for this program. According to the schedule, training sessions will be held every week from Sunday to Wednesday and will continue until 3rd December 2025. This structured timeline ensures that all nominated staff receive comprehensive, hands-on training essential for improving coordination and communication in day-to-day operations.
MPL believes this initiative will greatly support smoother workflows, strengthen operational readiness, and contribute to sustained service excellence.
