MPL Celebrates Maldivian Culture and Community at Eid Festival
MPL proudly participated in the festive Eid al-Fitr celebrations, an event jointlyorganised by the Government of Maldives, the Maldives National Defence Force(MNDF), and various state-owned enterprises. Hosted at Sultan Park in Malé City, theevent created a joyful environment where families and children enjoyed a wide array oftraditional activities.
MPL’s exhibition stall, themed "Eid Kulhivaru / Sagaafee Kulhivaru," stood out byshowcasing a vibrant array of cultural games and heritage displays, effectivelycelebrating the rich traditions of Maldivian culture. The MPL team additionally offeredphoto booths, themed cupcake giveaways, and branded t-shirts, further enhancingvisitor engagement and enjoyment.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed attended the festival,visiting stalls and interacting warmly with families and participants. The Eid Haveeruevent, held from 4 PM to 6 PM on Eid Day, exemplified unity, family connection, andnational pride.
MPL remains dedicated to actively participating in and contributing to community-focused events, underscoring its ongoing commitment to social responsibility andcultural engagement.
