Emergency Preparedness Strengthened Through Coordinated Port Drill
Malé, 12 December 2025 – Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) conducted a Security and Safety Drill today at Malé Southwest Harbor to reinforce emergency preparedness and promote safe operational practices across its port environment.
The drill, organized in close coordination between MPL’s Health & Safety Department and Port Security Department, simulated an emergency scenario to enhance response capabilities and improve interdepartmental coordination. Participants practiced critical procedures to ensure efficient and safe handling of unexpected incidents.
