Seven staff members from the Operations Department attended a specialized Winchmen Training program in Sri Lanka, conducted in collaboration with Integrated Learning Solutions.

The training program was held from 26th to 30th April 2025. This program was specifically designed to enhance the skills and technical knowledge of MPL’s port labor and operational staff. The program focuses on the effective and safe operation of winches on boats and ships, combining practical exercises with theoretical instruction delivered by experienced industry professionals.

Through this initiative, MPL aims to strengthen its operational efficiency and ensure the highest standards of safety in its port activities. By the end of the program, participants will be fully equipped with the skills necessary to handle winch operations more proficiently, contributing to the overall improvement of MPL’s service delivery.
