Malé, 8 November 2025 - Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) took part in the VARA Expo 2025, held from 6th to 8th November at Hulhumalé Central Park, joining organizations from across the country in a vibrant platform focused on careers, skills, and youth engagement.
At the MPL stall, visitors had the opportunity to explore various career opportunities, learn about the diverse roles within the maritime and port operations sector, and connect directly with MPL representatives to gain insights into the company’s working environment and growth pathways.
One of the highlights of the stall was the VR Simulation Challenge, an interactive virtual reality experience that allowed participants to try port-related tasks through a fun and immersive game. This activity drew strong interest from young visitors and helped spark curiosity about the modern skills required in the maritime industry.
As part of its talent development efforts, MPL also conducted walk in job interviews during the expo, providing a direct platform for jobseekers to meet with the recruitment team and explore employment opportunities within the company.
