MPL to Develop Commercial Port in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo
In a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing regional trade, MPL has signed an agreementwith the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to develop and operate a newcommercial port in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo. The official signing ceremony occurred onFebruary 23, in Kudahuvadhoo, attended by MPL CEO Mohamed Rishwan and theMinister of Economic Development, Mohammed Saeed.
The planned commercial port is strategically designed to facilitate direct port-to-portlogistics, positioning Kudahuvadhoo as a distribution hub in the region. Furthermore,MPL intends to establish bonded warehouse facilities at the port to further bolsterregional economic growth and improve trade infrastructure.
