Malé, 9 April 2025 — Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) today officially inaugurated a newly upgraded facility under the Health & Safety Department at Malé Commercial Harbour, marking a significant step forward in strengthening the company’s emergency preparedness and worker safety infrastructure.

This facility offers improved First Aid services, and support the delivery of faster, more effective health and safety support for both port workers and port users.

This development is part of MPL’s ongoing commitment to creating a safer, more responsive, and efficient working environment across its operations. The upgraded space is now better equipped to handle medical incidents, coordinate emergency response actions, and conduct health and safety training sessions.
